Salisbury PubWatch is just one example out of the many city centre radio systems that Delcom have supplied. Our pub watch radio system running in Salisbury town centre quickly and effectively links security & bar staff at some of Salisbury's premier venues tothe security teams working within the city and at the CCTV control room - as well as the police themselves.

Run by Salisbury Pub Watch association the system works from a repeater on one of the City Centre's largest buildings - linked back via a microwave link directly into the city's CCTV control room. Participating venues have 1 or more radios, usually held by door staff and bar staff, the radios allow staff to monitor incidents around the city and communicate with other venues, offering colleagues a 'heads up' on known trouble makers, ejectees and intoxicated indivudals heading towards their venue.

In addition, thanks to the radio link at the CCTV control room, CCTV staff can monitor issues and ejections - ensuring the CCTV cameras are pointed in the right direction should an incident occur. This offers staff peace of mind and facilitates a quick response by police should it be required, since the CCTV controllers are linked onto the Police TETRA radio system. CCTV evidence can then be used or reviewed at a later date, should any allegations of assault or an arrest occur.

PubWatch in Salisbury offers venue customers and employees peace of mind, it provides venue staff with an added line of defence and prevents incidents by removing the possibility of intoxicated persons or known trouble makers from entering the venue.
