RoboGuard is a simple and easy to use system that is completely wireless and easy to re-locate. The sensor contains batteries with a life of 3 years, so once programmed on the initial installation, the system is maintenance free. Completely weatherproof, impervious to lightning and tamper proof, this is a truly robust system and can be used anywhere. Working on coded radio frequencies and using dual beams, the system is not subject to any interference from other devices and does not send false alarms.

Roboguard is unique as it has 2 sensor beams which need to be broken in order to trigger the alarm, allowing birds, dogs, cats, foxes & deer to pass freely and only humans triggering the alarm due to their size and heat from the body.

A basic system normally consists of 2 RoboGuard sensors and one HQ (base station). The RoboGuard sensor detects movement up to 20 metres away and wirelessly transmits to the HQ, which then sounds the alarm. This would be more than sufficient for an area like a front / rear garden, a yard or to cover entrances to a barn as the beams fan out at a 110° angle. 

More RoboGuard sensors can be added to your system at any time if you feel the need and the system is integratable with existing alarms, CCTV & floodlights. The RoboGuard sensor can be positioned up to 400 metres away from the base station (HQ), however, with a repeater, this can be increased to 800 metres. The HQ can monitor up to 8 RoboGuard sensors and is portable, so allows you to carry it with you, or can be fixed in your property. 

This is a very simple and reliable system and is controlled by a small keyfob (or by telephone), allowing you to set / unset the alarm and control other systems like your lights or CCTV etc. In addition with the addition of the CONTACT ID and/or GSM/PSTN control units, the system can also be fully controlled by a remote alarm monitoring centres computer system, by telephone or by SMS.

Remote Outdoor Alarm Monitoring & Control

RoboGuard has full remote control facilities - by adding the GSM or PSTN units you can both receive alarm information and control the system remotely using text message or telephone calls.RoboGuard can be used as a standalone system to send alerts via GSM or telephone to the systems owner. In addition RoboGuard has full CONTACT ID integration, so can be monitored by any accredited alarm receiving centre. We can arrange monitoring of your RoboGuard system by your preferred alarm monitoring centre, or we can arrange monitoring via our accredited alarm receiving centre from £6 per month. 

Installation & Support

RoboGuard is easy to install and configure, however for larger installations some customers choose to opt for a full installation. We have alarm installers nationwide who can install, maintain and configure your systems exactly to your requirements. Please contact us for details. 

Accessories & Add-Ons

Aside from the remote control & monitoring units, RoboGuard has a number of add-on options. The Wireless Universal Transmitter allows you to connect any existing sensor or equipment and have it behave as if it were a RoboGuard sensor, so that when triggers it activates the alarm via the RoboGuard HQ. By using RoboGuard Repeaters you can extend the distance between the RoboGuard sensors almost infinitely. wired sirens, wireless sirens and voice anunciators, can be used to warn away intruders prior to any damage being done. In addition RoboGuard Timer Relays can be used by installers and connected to the HQ or a RoboGuard Universal Receiver in order to activate floodlighting or any other mains connected device.

Integration

Whilst RoboGuard systems come with all the components needed for a fully working alarm system, some customers choose to integrate the wireless outdoor sensors into their existing alarm systems. The RoboGuard Wired Keypad can be used with a RoboGuard Universal Receiver to connect the RoboGuard sensors directly into the input zones of an existing wired alarm system - by doing so the RoboGuard sensors just become an extension of the existing system. If customers still want the ability to set/unset the RoboGuard and benefit from being able to move the system then the Wireless RoboGuard HQ unit may be the answer. This is a control panel in it's own right and features wired alarm outputs for each zone and type of alarm (silent panic, tamper, panic, intruder, set, unset, low battery/signal etc) - which can then be connected to any thrid party device or system. This is great for when you want local control of the RoboGuard system via the HQ, as the outputs are only triggered when the HQ is armed.
